The Shawnee State men's soccer team traveled north to face the Pioneers from Point Park University. The Bears won 2-1, ending the Pioneer's unbeaten streak in conference play. 

The first half started and the Bears came out hungry for a goal and control of the game. It was only eight minutes into the game and the first goal for the Bears came when Matheus Camargo took the shot from outside the box and placed the ball in the top right corner of the goal. The rest of the first half was a back-and-forth battle between the Bears and the Pioneers.

For the second half, Joao Toledo scored the second goal for the Bears in the 53rd minute, when he received the ball inside the Pioneer's box and put the ball in the back of the net. The Pioneers did not go quietly as they scored their only goal of the game in the 60th minute. Eric Green had 3 important saves in the second half that prevented the other team from scoring. With 3 shots on goal in the game, two of them ended in the back of the net, the Bears won the game with a 2-1 score.

The Shawnee State men's soccer team will welcome West Virginia Tech University on Thursday at the Shawnee Turf, the game starts at 7 PM.
