On Tuesday, SSU Super Smash Bros. Ultimate claimed another decisive 2 – 0 win over University of the Cumberlands in a Mid-South season match.

Game one was led by Desmond Craft (gamertag: EchoForce) on Joker. He claimed 5 stocks before being eliminated. Following Craft was teammate Mark Schueler (gamertag: Atlas), whose Pac Man play claimed the remaining four stocks to seal the first game win 5 - 0. Each player claimed two stocks before conceding one of their own in game one, aside from Craft's final stock.

Christopher Mowery (gamertag: Spaceminer) once again showcased his dominance in-game during game two. He renewed his membership to the nine stock club after eliminating all nine stocks from the Cumberlands roster. During his exciting run, he refused to concede a stock until facing the final player, who relieved Mowery of two stocks. The game ended an 8 – 0 win for the Bears.

SSU Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will return on January 17, 2023, to face Campbellsville University in their next Mid-South season match. Game begins at 7:00 PM.
