Bears drop regular season finale to No. 3 Cumberlands (Ky.)

The baseball program at Shawnee State dropped its final contest of the regular season Saturday morning, falling 12-0 in seven innings to No. 3-ranked Cumberlands (Ky.).

Shawnee State got hits from Levi Jones, Howie Rodriguez and Hunter Krannitz in the contest. Jones and Rodriguez each went 1-for-3 in Saturday's contest while Krannitz singled to lead off the top half of the sixth inning in his lone plate appearance.

SSU will await its seeding and Mid-South Conference Opening Round opponent, with the official tournament bracket being released in the coming hours and days ahead.
