Shawnee State junior wing Issac Abergut discusses the team's overall chemistry and the work ethic of the coaching staff in this One-on-One edition!
Abergut, a native of Melbourne, Australia, comes to SSU after two seasons at Miles College in Montana.
At Miles, Abergut averaged 11.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and two assists on 45.7 percent shooting as a freshman for a 13-18 unit, then improved greatly as a sophomore by notching 13.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists on 47.7 percent shooting and a strong 38.8 percent mark from long distance as Miles went 20-12 overall during the 2019-20 season. He was named Second-Team All-MonDak Conference and was also named All-Region as a result of his performance.
So far, the 6-7 wing, who can also play point guard, is averaging 7.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest. He's also made 24 three-point field goals and has 22 steals -- the latter stat good for 1.2 steals a contest.
