Men's Basketball at (RV) Campbellsville on Satuday

Portsmouth, Ohio - Shawnee State men's basketball finish a two game road trip on Saturday afternoon when they visit Powell Athletic Center to take on (RV) Campbellsville.

The Bears are 10-9 and 1-3 in the Mid-South Conference. Shawnee State fell to (5) Georgetown 105-79 on Thursday night. Jayllen Carter (SR/Portsmouth, Ohio) had 24 points to lead Shawnee State.

Campbellsville are 15-5 on the season, but have gotten off to a 0-4 start to Mid-South Conference play. The Tigers dropped their fourth straight on Thursday night, falling to (12) Pikeville 81-72.

Campbellsville lead the all-time series with Shawnee State 14-7. The Tigers swept the season series last year, winning 79-71 at home on January 14 before coming to Portsmouth to win 87-69 on February 16. Campbellsville have won the last six meetings between the two teams.

Shawnee State have also struggled on the road against Campbellsville historically. The Bears' last win against Campbellsville at Powell Athletic Center was on January 31, 2013, a 68-66 win for SSU.
