Portsmouth, Ohio – Shawnee State Men's soccer faced the Warriors of Indiana Tech on homecoming Saturday in a match that ended in a devastating 10-1 loss.
The first period saw Shawnee State come out firing by way of a shot by Alek Blevins in the 3rd minute that went wide. Indiana Tech scored first in the 15th minute by way of a Brennan Cochran goal assisted by Ruben Leonardo. After another Indiana Tech goal, Bryce Romanello would score the first and only goal of the match for SSU in the 24th minute, he was assisted by Casper Nolte. That would be the only highlight of the first period for the Bears as Indiana Tech would score four more times dominating the first half 5-1.
The second half was widely the same story as SSU would manage four shots on goal but would not score again for the rest of the match. Indiana Tech continued their run scoring 5 more goals, winning the match 10-1.
After the loss the Bears drop to 0-7-0 on the season. Indiana Tech's record improves to 4-2-0.
