Men's Soccer has two named MSC All-Conference

Portsmouth, Ohio – Shawnee State men's soccer had two players named Mid-South Conference Second Team All-Conference selections on Thursday night.

Bryce Romanello (FR/Lucasville, Ohio) and Caspar Nolte (SO/Germantown, Ohio) were the two Bears honored by the league this season. Romanello, a freshman from Portsmouth, scored eight goals in 17 matches this season, tied for eighth in the league and a team high for Shawnee State.

Caspar Nolte, a sophomore from Germantown, Ohio, scored four goals this season. Nolte was third on the team in goals, scoring his four in 17 games.

Both players earned their first all-conference selections of their careers. Nolte was also a recipient of a Mid-South Conference All-Academic award for this season.

Men's soccer play in the quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference Tournament against Cumberlands this evening at 8:30pm Eastern time, 7:30pm Central.
