PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Softball) – Inclement weather in the area, along with snow still on the ground has forced the cancelation of all Shawnee State softball games this week. The Bears were slated to open the season Monday at the University of Rio Grande, before hosting Fisher College in a four-game set Friday and Saturday.

The Bears are currently scheduled for a home doubleheader with Rio Grande on March 5, which will now be the season-opener, before taking on Ohio Christian University at home on March 7. Any changes to this slate will be announced as soon as they are made available at www.SSUBears.com.
