PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Baseball) – Inclement weather in the entire region has led to the cancelation of the Shawnee State baseball team's weekend series at Union College in Barboursville, Ky. A single game on Tuesday – slated to be SSU's home opener – versus Rio Grande has also been canceled.

The Bears' current schedule calls for home games versus Indiana Tech and Fisher College on Feb. 28 and March 1. As of now, those games will remain on the docket, however changes are expected. Shawnee State's athletics website, SSUBears.com, will be updated with changes as they become available.
