NAIA Game Notes
PORTSMOUTH – Tonight's women's basketball game featuring the No. 5 Cumberland Bulldogs (24-1, 15-1 MSC) and the No. 14 Shawnee State Bears (19-6, 10-5 MSC) has been selected as the NAIA Game of the Week. Fans had the choice of five different games to pick from and when the voting had finished, the Bears' game received over 100 votes more than their nearest competitor.
You can watch tonight's NAIA Game of the Week through Cumberland University's broadcast. There will be a fee for this game and a separate fee if you wish to watch the men's game. Live stats can also be found through this link.
With Cumberland playing in the Central Time Zone, tip-off for the women's game will be at 7 p.m. Eastern. Cumberland is currently four games up on second place in the Mid-South Conference and can clinch the regular season championship with a win in either of its games this weekend. The Bears are currently tied for third in the conference. With Georgetown idle tonight, a Bears win would create a tie for second.
If both SSU and Campbellsville win, it would create a three-way tie for second. Second through fifth place in the MSC are separated by just one game heading into this weekend.

After the women's game, the men will also take on Cumberland University. That game is schedule for a 9 p.m. tip in the Eastern Time zone.
