Gesick named 1st Team All-MSC; three named 2nd Team

Danny Gesick was named 1stTeam All-Mid-South Conference during the MSC Banquet on Wednesday evening, while Colin Keim, Cody Morrison, and Austin Dunfee were named 2ndTeam All-MSC.

Gesick, a senior first baseman from Pickerington, OH, led the Bears with a .406 batting average on the season. He also led the Bears with 42 runs scored, nine homeruns, 17 doubles and a .742 slugging percentage. On the season, Gesick also had 63 hits and four triples.

Keim, a junior catcher from Clinton, OH, batted .326 on the season with 57 hits, 24 runs scored, 11 doubles and two homeruns.

Morrison, a senior outfielder from Spring, TX, led the Bears with six triples and 40 RBI's on the season. On the season, he accumulated a .310 batting average with 61 hits, 36 runs scored, 15 doubles and four home runs.

Dunfee, the Bears' ace pitcher accumulated a 9-5 record on the mound. The senior from Pomeroy, OH tallied a 2.44 ERA in 92.1 innings with a shutout.

Senior Ryan Burnett (Bellevue, WA) was also named to the Gold Glove Team.
