Thompson earns MSC Pitcher of the Week honors

Junior Ali Thompson (Franklin Furnace, OH) was named Mid-South Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Thompson earned the honor as she threw a complete-game shutout over the University of Pikeville on Tuesday.

She allowed just two hits in the Bears 3-0 win while striking out three hitters.

Thompson leads the MSC with a 0.65 ERA, opponent's batting average (.135) and earned runs allowed (4).
