BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The Mid-South Conference officially announced its men's and women's bowling Champions of Character teams on Tuesday.
The MSC Champions of Character Team honors student-athletes from each championship sport who exemplify leadership both on and off campus. Selections are nominated by their coaches and recognized for living out the NAIA's five core character values through their actions, commitment and impact within the campus community.

Zach Ison and
Onesti Evans were Shawnee State's male and female selections to the team, respectively.
Ison, from Hillsboro, Ohio, finished tied for fourth individually at the Lynne Jordan Memorial on Saturday, Jan. 31, knocking down 909 pins across four games (227 average, 262 high).
Evans, a Washington Court House native, is a two-time Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Week honoree this season.
The Shawnee State men's and women's bowling teams are in action Feb. 5-7 at Southern Lanes in Bowling Green, Kentucky, for the Mid-South Conference Championships.
