Smash Bros. Defeats Saint Ambrose

Last Thursday, SSU Super Smash Bros. Ultimate took on Saint Ambrose University in another NACE season match. They took the match with a clean 2-0 score, adding another win to their overall 4-0 record for the season.

Game one was led by Benjamin Moushey (gamertag: Waywardness) as Zelda. After losing a stock early, Moushey took the lead for the Bears by nabbing 5 stocks from the Fighting Bees, 4 of which were before he lost another stock of his own. Second up was Dustin Simpkins (gamertag: Breadlofe) as Roy. He nabbed 1 stock for the road, before handing off to Mark Schueler (gamertag: Atlas) and his Pac Man. Schueler nearly finished the match in the Bears' favor by taking 5 stocks. The Fighting Bees only had 1 stock left, which Christopher Mowery (gamertag: SpaceMiner) took with ease as Toon Link.

Game two was once again led by Moushey, who claimed another 5 stocks, totaling 10 for the night. Next up was Desmond Craft (gamertag: EchoForce) who brought in Joker. Craft nabbed 2 stocks to maintain the lead, then was eliminated. Schueler returned to the stage as Pac Man, claiming 5 stocks to close out the match and tie Moushey's total of 10.
